CLINDAMYCIN & BENZOYL PEROXIDE GEL

This medicine contains clindamycin andbenzoyl peroxide as active ingredients.

Clindamycin is in aclass of medications called lincomycin antibiotics.

Clindamycin is usedto treat certain types of bacterial infections.

Benzoylperoxide works as an antiseptic to reduce the number of germs(bacteria) on the surface of your skin.

The combination ofclindamycin and benzoyl peroxide works by killing the bacteria thatcause acne.

HOW TO USE:Gel should be applied to the affected area once daily (in theevening just before bedtime) by applying a thin film of the gel onto the skin. Wash and dry thewhole area to be treated before applying the gel/cream. If the skin is greasy, you may consider using a mild skin cleansingagent.

Absorption: When given orally, drug is absorbedrapidly and almost completely from skin.

Excretion: About 10% ofdose is excreted unchanged in urine.
