PARACETAMOL 100 MG DISPERSIBLE TABLETS

Paracetamol (acetaminophen) isa pain reliever and a fever reducer. 

It relievespain in mild arthritis but has no effect on the underlying inflammation andswelling of the joint.

Paracetamolshould be used with caution in patients with liver diseases due to theincreased risk of severe adverse effects.

Paracetamolis used to temporarily relieve moderate pain such as muscle ache, headache,toothache, arthritis, and backache.

PHARMACOKINETICS

Paracetamol is readily absorbed from thegastrointestinal tract with peak plasma concentrations occurring about 30minutes to 2 hours after ingestion. It is metabolised in the liver (90-95%) andexcreted in the urine mainly as the glucuronide and sulphate conjugates. Lessthan 5% is excreted as unchanged paracetamol.
