HOW TO USE: Take this medicinetwo times per day with milk or water. Take this medicine as advice by yourdoctor, Do not chew or crush this tablet. Be aware of contraindications.

PHARMACOKINETICS:
Absorption: Absorption across the GI tract appears tobe dose-related. Lower doses are essentially completely absorbed, whileabsorption of larger doses is incomplete and variable. I.M. doses are absorbedcompletely.

Distributed widely throughout the body, with the highestlevels found in the kidneys, gallbladder, spleen, liver, and skin. Drug crossesthe blood-brain barrier but doesn’t achieve therapeutic levels in the CSF.About 50% of the drug is bound to plasma protein.

Metabolism: Metabolized slightly in the liver.

Excretion: Excreted primarily into urine as unchanged drug. Eliminationhas been described as biphasic, with a first phase half-life averaging 1 1/2 to3 1/2 hours and a terminal phase half-life of 3 to 10 hours for low doses and 8to 15 hours for high doses.

PRECAUTIONS: If you are taking the rapidly dissolvingtablets keep your hand dry before taking medicine out of packet. Place tabletin mouth wait for it to dissolve and the swallow it with saliva.
