LORNOXICAM 4 MGTABLETS

This tablet containstwo medicines Lornixicam and Paracetamol.

Lornoxicam is anon-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and antirheumatic drug (NSAID) of theoxicam class.

Lornoxicamis a medicine used for temporary relief of swelling, stiffness, and painassociated with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Spondylitis

It is intended forshort term treatment of acute mild to moderate pain.

PHARMACOKINETICS:
parent compound and the main metabolite,5'-hydroxy-lornoxicam, were found in plasma. However, in urine, no lornoxicamwas detected, only 5'-hydroxy-lornoxicam. After oral as well as intravenousadministration, a short terminal half-life of lornoxicam in the range of 4-5hours was found. Given orally as solution, lornoxicam was rapidly and almostcompletely absorbed.

PRECAUTIONS: If you are taking the rapidly dissolvingtablets keep your hand dry before taking medicine out of packet. Place tabletin mouth wait for it to dissolve and the swallow it with saliva.
