EFAVIRENZ 50 MGTABLETS

This medicine iscontansantivral type of drug.

Efavirenz is ina class of medications called non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors(NNRTIs).

Efavirenz is used alongwith other medications to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection.

It fights humanimmunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) infection by reducing the amount of the virus inblood.

It is used by adults,adolescents and children 3 months of age and older and weighing at least 3.5kg.
