ORAL REHYDRATION SALT

ORS Powder is a WHObased ORS (Oral Rehydration Salt) formula.

Oralrehydration salt is a combination of Dextrose and a number of essentialelectrolytes (Glucose, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Citrate).

ORS Powderrestores body fluids & electrolytes, lost due to dehydration in duringDiarrhea, vomiting, muscle cramping, and exertional heat illness whileexercising in hot or humid weather. 

HOW TO USE:

Dissolve the contentsof the packet in the amount of drinking water indicated on the packet, usually1 liter.

If drinking water isnot available, or if you are not sure the water is drinkable, boil the waterfor at least 10 minutes and then let cool

PHARMACOKINETICS:
Absorption: After oral administration, vitamin B₁₂ isabsorbed irregularly from the distal small intestine.

Distributed into the liver, bone marrow, and other tissues,including the placenta

Metabolism: metabolized in the liver.

Excretion: In healthy people receiving only dietary vitamin B₁₂,about 3 to 8 mcg of the vitamin is secreted into the GI tract daily

PRECAUTIONS: Do not take in high quantity.

STORAGECONDITIONS: Store in cool and dry place,away from direct heat and light. Do not place in bathroom or kitchen. Keep awayfrom the children and pet.
