CLOTRIMAZOLE1% 100GM DUSTING POWDER

Thismedicine contains Clotrimazole as active ingredients.

Clotrimazole isin a class of antifungal medications called imidazoles.

It works by stoppingthe growth of fungi that cause infection.

This dustingpowder is used to treat skin infections caused by fungi. Theseinclude infections like athlete's foot, ringworm, vaginal thrush, and sweatrash.

Apply thismedication to the affected skin, usually twice a day or as directed by yourdoctor.

HOW TO USE: Apply clotrimazole to the infected area 2 or 3 times a day for at least 2weeks. The most common side effect of clotrimazole is irritation in the area where you apply the treatment. Clotrimazole is also known by thebrand name Canesten.

PHARMACOKINETICS:
Clotrimazole has very poor oral bioavailability. Less than 3% isabsorbed from mucosal surfaces and less than 0.5% is absorbed through the skin.Most of the absorbed drug is metabolized on first pass through the liver.
