GLIMEPIRIDE4 MG TABLETS            

Glimepiride isused in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

It is used along withdiet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes is anillness where the body does not make enough insulin, or the insulin that's madedoes not work properly.

It works byincreasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lowerblood glucose.

This causes highblood sugar (hyperglycemia).
