This Shampoo containsKetoconazole as active ingredient.

Ketoconazole belongsto the class of drugs called azole antifungals.

It works by stoppingthe growth of the fungus.

Ketoconazole2% shampoo is used to treat "sun fungus"(tineaversicolor; pityriasisversicolor).

This medicine mayalso be used for other fungus infections of the skin as determined byyour doctor.
