Lowering highblood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. 

Amlodipine belongsto a class of drugs known as calcium channel blockers.

Excretion: Excretedprimarily in urine.

PRECAUTIONS: Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to drug. Use cautiously inpatients receiving other peripheral dilators and in those with aortic stenosis,heart failure, or severe hepatic disease.
