DICLOFENAC SODIUM 50MG &THIOCOLCHICOSIDE 4 MG TABLETS

Thiocolchicoside& Diclofenac is a combination of two medicines: Thiocolchicoside andDiclofenac.

The intendedindication is treatment of pain associated with muscles and joints. 

Diclofenac is amedicine belonging in the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory group and acts toreduce pain and fever. 

Thiocolchicoside isa muscle relaxant.

Diclofenac is anon-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which works by blocking the release ofcertain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation.

Absorption: Oral form is rapidly and almost completely absorbed.Absorption is delayed by food.

Metabolism: Undergoes first-pass metabolism, with 60% of unchanged drugreaching systemic circulation.

Excretion: About 40% to 60% is excreted in the urine; the balance isexcreted in the bile.

PRECAUTIONS: Oralform is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to drug and in those withhepatic porphyria or a history of asthma, urticaria, or other allergicreactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs.

STORAGECONDITIONS: Store in cool and dry place,away from direct heat and light. Do not place in bathroom or kitchen. Keep awayfrom the children and pet.
