LERCANIDIPINE HCL 20 MGTABLETS

Lercanidipine hcl isa type of medicine called a calcium channel blocker.

Lercanidipineis an antihypertensive drug.

Like other calciumchannel blockers, lercanidipinehcl works by blocking calcium going into musclesin the heart and blood vessels.

Muscles need calciumto contract, so when you block the calcium, it makes the muscle cells relax.

This lowers the bloodpressure and allows the heart to work more efficiently.
