This tabletcontains Sodium Bicarbonate as active ingredient.

SodiumBicarbonate is an antacid used to relieve acid indigestion, heartburn, and gas.

Sodium Bicarbonateworks by increasing the pH of blood and urine, thereby correcting metabolicacidosis (high acid levels in the body). 

SodiumBicarbonate also speeds up the removal of toxic substances from the body incertain types of poisoning. 

SodiumBicarbonate helps to neutralize the acid present in the stomach by producingcarbon dioxide which results in a reduction of irritation in the stomach andintestine.
