STAVUDINE 30 MG TABLETS

 

This tablet contains Stavudine as active ingredient.

Stavudine belongs to a class of drugs known asnucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTI).

Stavudine is used to treat HIV (human immunodeficiencyvirus), the virus that can cause AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome).

Stavudine helps to control HIV infection so immunesystem can work better.

HOW TO USE: take this medicine two times par day withmilk or water. Take this medicine as advice by your doctor.  Do not chew or crush these tablets. Aware ofcontra indication.

Excretion: Renalelimination accounts for about 40% of overall clearance, regardless ofadministration route; there’s active tubular secretion in addition toglomerular filtration.
