LEFLUNOMIDE 10 MGTABLETS

Leflunomide isin a class of medications called disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs(DMARDs).

Leflunomide is animmunosuppressive disease-modifying antirheumatic drug.

It is a pyrimidinesynthesis inhibitor that works by inhibiting dihydroorotate dehydrogenase.

It is used in activemoderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis.

Leflunomide iseffective as a corticosteroid-sparing agent in patients withdifficult-to-treat GCA and PMR.

Metabolism: Metabolized slightly in the liver.

Excretion: Excreted primarily into urine as unchanged drug.
