MONTELUKAST& LEVOCETIRIZINE 30ML SYRUP

This syrupcontains Montelukast, Levocetirizine as an active ingredient.

Levocetirizine isan antihistamine used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and long termhives of unclear cause.

Levocetirizine isan antihistamine used to treat symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose,itching eyes/nose, and sneezing.

It is lesssedating than older antihistamines.

Montelukast isused to prevent wheezing, difficulty breathing, chest tightness, andcoughing caused by asthma.

HOWTO USE: Take this medication by mouth with or without food, as directedby your doctor, usually every 4 hours. For powder packets, empty the entirecontents of the packet onto the tongue and swallow. Drink plenty of fluidswhile taking thismedication.

Absorption: Rapidly absorbed with mean oralbioavailability of 64%.

Minimallydistributed to the tissues with a steady state volume of distribution of 8 to11 L. Over 99% is bound to plasma proteins.

Metabolism: Extensivelymetabolized, but plasma levels of metabolites at therapeutic doses areundetectable.

Excretion: About 86% ofan oral dose is metabolized and excreted in the feces.

PRECAUTIONS: Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to drug. Use cautiously inpatients receiving other peripheral dilators and in those with aortic stenosis,heart failure, or severe hepatic disease.

STORAGECONDITIONS: Store incool and dry place, away from direct heat and light. Do not place in bathroomor kitchen. Keep away from the children and pet.
