KETOCONAZOLE 200 MGTABLETS

Ketoconazole  belongs to a group of medicines calledantifungals.

It works by stoppingthe growth of fungus and is used to treat infections of the mouth, throat,vagina and other parts of the body including fingernails and toenails.

It kills fungi bydestroying the fungal cell membrane.

Excretion: Faecal excretion of parent drug varies between 3% and 18% ofthe dose.

Precautions: Contraindicatedin patients hypersensitive to drug, in patients with idiosyncratic reactions tonitrates, and in patients with severe hypotension, shock, or acute MI with lowleft ventricular filling pressure. STORAGE CONDITIONS:Store in a roomtemperature away from direct heat and light.
