FENBENDAZOLE3 GM BOLUS

Each 3g bolus contains 1.5 g, 150 mg and 3  g active Fenbendazole respectively.

It is usedin Dog, sheep, goat for the treatment of infestation with gastrointestinalnematodes, lungworms and tapeworms.

Composition:The active ingredient of Tablet is Fenbendazole.

Fenbendazole dose for dogs, cats, horses,cattle, sheep, goats, pig, poultry and other domestic animals.

It isineffective against flukes (e.g. Fasciola hepatica adults) at the usualtherapeutic dose.

It iscompletely ineffective against external parasites.

SIDE EFFECTS

Salivation, 

Vomiting,

Diarrhoea  mayoccur in dogs or cats.

HOW TO USE: Take this medicinetwo times per day with milk or water. Take this medicine as advice by yourdoctor, Do not chew or crush this tablet. Be aware of contraindications.

PHARMACOKINETICS:
Fenbendazole have very poor solubility andbecause of this it have very limited absorption rate inside the body after oraladministration. The rate of absorption of Fenbendazole is different in allanimals. Fenbendazole reaches Cmax in about 8hrs in rats and rabbits. Thehalf-life of Fenbendazole is different in all animals like 15hrs, in dogs,2-3hrs in sheep and 13 hours in rabbits. The elimination of Fenbendazole isdone by faecal route.
