ACYCLOVIR200 MG TABLETS

Acyclovir Tabletsare indicated for the treatment of varicella (chickenpox) and herpes zoster(shingles) infections.

 Treatment of herpes simplex infections: 200 mg Acyclovir should betaken five times daily at approximately four hourly intervals omitting thenight time dose.

Acyclovir is usedto treat infections caused by certain types of viruses.

It treats cold sores around the mouth(caused by herpes simplex),shingles (caused by herpes zoster),and chickenpox.

The pharmacokinetics and bioavailability ofaciclovir were examined after administration of newly developed 200 mg and 400mg tablets.
