Furosemide is ina class of medications called diuretics.

Furosemide  is a medication used to treat fluid build-updue to heart failure, liver scarring, or kidney disease.

Furosemide is usedto treat edema caused by various medical problems, including heart,kidney, and liver disease.

Spironolactone isused to treat heart failure, high blood pressure (hypertension),or hypokalemia (low potassium levels in the blood).

Spironolactone alsotreats fluid retention (edema) in people with congestive heartfailure.

Precautions: Contraindicatedif increased azotemia, oliguria, or progressive renal disease occur duringtherapy. Use cautiously in pregnant women, patients with sulfa allergy, and inthose with hepatic cirrhosis.STORAGECONDITIONS:Storein a room temperature away from direct heat and light.
