NAPROXEN SODIUM 275 MG TABLETS

This tablet contains Naproxen sodium  as active ingredient.

Naproxen tablets belong to a class ofdrugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

It drug used to treat pain, menstrualcramps, inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, and fever.

Naproxen is used to relievepain from various conditions such as headache, muscle aches, tendonitis, dentalpain, and menstrual cramps.

 It also reduces pain, swelling, andjoint stiffness caused by arthritis, bursitis, and gout attacks.

Common Side Effects

Easy bruising/bleeding, difficult/painfulswallowing,

Hearing changes (such as ringing inthe ears),

Mental/mood changes,

Signs of kidney problems,

Unexplained stiff neck, 

Vision changes.

PHARMACOKINETICS:
Absorption: Absorbed rapidly and completely from theGI tract. Naproxen sodium is absorbed more rapidly than naproxen formulation.

Metabolism: Metabolized in the liver.

Excretion: Excreted in urine. Half-life is 10 to20 hours.
