AMBROXOL,GUAIPHENESIN & TERBUTALINE SULPHATE 60ML SYRUP

This syrup containsambroxol, guaiphenesin&terbutaline as active ingredient.

Ambroxol isindicated in bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucus secretionand impaired mucus transport.

Guaifenesin is usedto treat coughs and congestion caused by the common cold, bronchitis, and otherbreathing illnesses.

Terbutaline is used toprevent and treat wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness caused byasthma, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema. 

Common SideEffects

Feeling nervous,restless, excitable and/or shaky.

Fast, slow or unevenheartbeat.

Bad taste in themouth.

Dry mouth.

Uncontrollableshaking of a part of the body.

Nervousness.

Dizziness.

HOW TO USE: Take this medication by mouth with or without food, asdirected by your doctor, usually every 4 hours. For powder packets, empty theentire contents of the packet onto the tongue and swallow.

PHARMACOKINETICS:
Almostall Ambroxol medication absorbed in body after the oral administration. Thisdrug binds with almost 90% of blood plasma proteins. The half-life of themedicine is between 7-12 hours. The drug is metabolized in liver. About 90% ofAmbroxol excreted by the urination.

PRECAUTIONS: Contraindicatedin patients hypersensitive to drug. Use cautiously in patients receiving otherperipheral dilators and in those with aortic stenosis, heart failure, or severehepatic disease.

STORAGECONDITIONS: Store in cool and dry place,away from direct heat and light. Do not place in bathroom or kitchen. Keep awayfrom the children and pet.
