BROMHEXINE,GUAIPHENESIN & TERBUTALINE 100ML SYRUP

This syrup containsBromohexine, Guaiphenesin and Terbutaline as active ingredients.

Bromhexine is amucolytic drug used in the treatment of respiratory disorders associated withviscid or excessive mucus.

Guaifenesin is usedto treat coughs and congestion caused by the common cold, bronchitis, and otherbreathing illnesses.

Terbutaline is used toprevent and treat wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness caused byasthma, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema.

HOW TO USE: Take this medication by mouth with or without food, asdirected by your doctor, usually every 4 hours. For powder packets, empty theentire contents of the packet onto the tongue and swallow. Drink plenty offluids while taking thismedication.

Absorption: About 33% to 50% of an oral dose isabsorbed through the GI tract.

Metabolism: Partially metabolized in the liver to inactive compounds.

Excretion: After parenteral administration, 60% of drug is excretedunchanged in urine

PRECAUTIONS: Contraindicatedin patients hypersensitive to drug. Use cautiously in patients receiving otherperipheral dilators and in those with aortic stenosis, heart failure, or severehepatic disease.

STORAGECONDITIONS: Store in cool and dry place,away from direct heat and light. Do not place in bathroom or kitchen. Keep awayfrom the children and pet.
