This medicine contains Piroxicam as activeingredient.

Piroxicam is oneof a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

It works by stoppingthe body's production of a substance that causes pain, fever, and inflammation.

Piroxicamgel will help to relieve pain and reduce swelling affecting joints andmuscles when rubbed into the skin over the affected area.

HOW TO USE:Gel should be applied to the affected area once daily (in theevening just before bedtime) by applying a thin film of the gel onto the skin. Wash and dry thewhole area to be treated before applying the gel/cream. If the skin is greasy, you may consider using a mild skin cleansingagent.
