This syrup containsCarbonyl iron, Folic acid, Cynocobalamine, Zinc monohydate as activeingredients.

Carbonyl iron is usedto treat or prevent iron deficiencyand iron deficiency anemia.

HOW TO USE: Take this medication by mouth with or without food, asdirected by your doctor, usually every 4 hours. For powder packets, empty theentire contents of the packet onto the tongue and swallow.

PHARMACOKINETICS:
Absorption: After oral administration, vitamin B₁₂ isabsorbed irregularly from the distal small intestine. 

Distributed into the liver, bone marrow, and other tissues,including the placenta.

Metabolism: Cyanocobalamin and hydroxocobalamin are metabolized in theliver.

Excretion: In healthy people receiving only dietary vitamin B₁₂,about 3 to 8 mcg of the vitamin is secreted into the GI tract daily, mainlyfrom bile, and all but about 1 mcg is reabsorbed.

PRECAUTIONS: Contraindicatedin patients hypersensitive to drug. Use cautiously in patients receiving otherperipheral dilators and in those with aortic stenosis, heart failure, or severehepatic disease.

STORAGECONDITIONS: Store in cool and dry place,away from direct heat and light. Do not place in bathroom or kitchen. Keep awayfrom the children and pet.
