Carvedilol isused to treat high blood pressure and heart failure.

Metabolism: Extensively metabolized, primarily by aromatic ringoxidation and glucuronidation.

Metabolites aremainly excreted via bile into the feces. Less than 2% of dose is excretedunchanged in urine.

PRECAUTIONS: Usecautiously in patients with impaired renal function, renal artery stenosis, orserious autoimmune diseases (especially lupus erythematosus) and in thosetaking drugs that affect WBC counts or immune response.

Store in cool and dry place, away fromdirect heat and light. Do not place in bathroom or kitchen. Keep away from thechildren and pet.
