METHYLPREDNISOLONE 8MG TABLETS

This Tablet containsMethylprednisolone as active ingredient.

Methylprednisolone isimmunosuppressant class of medicine.

It is used forrelieves of inflammation and is used to treat certain formsof arthritis, skin, blood, kidney, eye, thyroid, and intestinaldisorders.

It is also used fortreatment of certain type of cancer.

Excretion: Inactive metabolites and small amounts of unmetabolized drugare excreted by the kidneys. Insignificant quantities of drug are excreted in faeces.Biological half-life of methylprednisolone is 18 to 36 hours.
