ATORVASTATIN 10MG & CLOPIDOGREL 75 MG TABLETS

Clopidogrel is usedto prevent heart attacks and strokes in persons with heart disease (recentheart attack), recent stroke, or blood circulation disease (peripheral vasculardisease).

Atorvastatin is used alongwith a proper diet to help lower "bad" cholesterol and fats (such asLDL, triglycerides) and raise "good" cholesterol (HDL) in the blood.

It belongs to agroup of drugs known as "statins." It works by reducing the amount ofcholesterol made by the liver.

Absorption: Rapidly absorbed.

Metabolism: Extensivelymetabolized to orthohydroxylated and parahydroxylated derivatives and variousbeta-oxidation products.

Excretion: Eliminatedprimarily in bile following hepatic or extrahepatic metabolism; however, drugdoesn’t appear to undergo enterohepatic recirculation.

PRECAUTIONS: Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to drug and in patients withactive hepatic disease or conditions linked to unexplained persistentelevations of serum transaminase levels. Also it is contraindicated in pregnantor breast-feeding women and in women of childbearing age (except those with norisk of becoming pregnant).

Store incool and dry place, away from direct heat and light. Do not place in bathroomor kitchen. Keep away from the children and pet.
