CHOLINE SALICYLATE, LIGNOCAINE HCL &BENZALKONIUM CHLORIDE GEL

This medicine contains Choline salicylate,Lignocaine HCL & Benzalkoniumchloride as active ingredients.

Choline salicylate isan anti-inflammatory pain reliever agent that is related to aspirin.

It is used todecrease swelling and to treat mild-moderate pain.

Lignicainehclis used to prevent and relieve pain during certain medicalprocedures.

Benzalkoniumchloride is a quaternary ammonium antiseptic and disinfectant with actionsand uses similar to those of other cationic surfactants.

Common Side Effects

Itching;

Red, swollen,

blistered, or peelingskin. 

HOW TO USE:Gel should be applied to the affected area once daily (in theevening just before bedtime) by applying a thin film of the gel onto the skin. Wash and dry thewhole area to be treated before applying the gel/cream. If the skin is greasy, you may consider using a mild skin cleansingagent.

PHARMACOKINETICS:
The pharmacokinetics of clonidine is dose proportional inthe range of 100 mcg to600 mcg. The absolute bioavailability of clonidine on oral administrationis 70% to 80%. Peak plasma clonidine levelsare attained in approximately 1 to 3 hours.
