FEBUXOSTAT40 MG TABLETS

Febuxostat  is a medication used long-term to treat goutdue to high uric acid levels.

Uric acid is formedfrom the breakdown of certain chemicals (purines) in the body.

Hyperuricemia occurswhen the body produces more uric acid than it can eliminate.

When initiallystarted, medications such as NSAIDs are often recommended to prevent goutflares.
